I am currently in my second season of being a full time student equipment manager for the UNC Football team. Whether traveling with the team or just hanging around the facility, the experiences I have had and friends I have made are truly unforgettable. I cannot wait to see what the next two years bring! My friends here at UNC and from home in Reidsville are truly what keep me sane. Whether taking spontaneous trips to the mountains or just having movie nights in our apartments, I look forward to every memory I make with them.
Family
My parents are my rock, there is no telling where I would be without them. They are my biggest inspirations in life and I am so proud of my heritage. Along with my parents, I have a twin sister who is my true best friend. No matter how different we are, we tell each other everything and I could not live without her.
A Passion for the Future
For me, the biggest motivation in my life is to create the future of my dreams. Growing up in a small town gifted me the ability to create a close connection with a small group of people, which I believe created my passion for growing my circle and meeting new people constantly. While I am thankful for my childhood, I know that moving back home is not in my future. Like almost every young girl, I have hopes of one day living in a big city, and I am working towards that everyday. I find the idea of creating your own life to be so exciting, and I am working every day to ensure that all of my dreams come true. I have been applying to countless summer internships, and I have big plans for the rest of my time at UNC and after I graduate. The only thing I can do while I wait is to sit back, and enjoy the journey, and have faith in God’s plan for me.
